"Fullish colour, just about mature. full, firm nose. Still undeveloped. Still a bit closed. The complete wine. Fullish, just about ready. Real depth. Excellent depth. Excellent complex fruit. Delicious."

Graham's 1999 - Quinta dos Malvedos - Single Quinta Vintage
"Deep purple core with wide, fading rim. Ripe plum dominates the nose with hints of prune and mint. Second wave of aromas brings chocolate, vanilla and some sweet oak. Full and soft in the mouth yet still bright acidity. Compact and intense with fruit flavours bursting to
show themselves. Great structure and balance. Firm tannins and long, persistent finish. Loads of potential to develop."
IWSC, 01/06/2008
Graham's 1996 - Quinta dos Malvedos - Single Quinta Vintage
"Stunning value, this single quinta wine from Quinta dos Malvedos, the isolated estate in the Douro Valley in northern Portugal that provides most of the best grapes for Graham’s vintage port, is well up to the standard of most vintage port... This wine is looking gorgeous now – just right for winter sipping. Wonderfully mellow yet refreshing super-ripe fruit too... This port should also continue to develop in bottle for another 10 years at least."
Jancis Robinson, Jancisrobinson.com, 11/12/2006
Graham's 2000 - Crusted
"Opaque purple. Ripe black berries and dark cherries on the nose with peppery notes and hint of sweet tobacco. Well rounded, sweet fruited mouth balanced by keen fruit acid and lively tannins. Complex, well balanced with fine structure. Continual development of flavours in the mouth would seem to indicate lots of life to come in the bottle. Full and firm in well extended finish."
IWSC, 01/10/2006

Wine Enthusiast, 01/12/2006
